Tervetuloa venetsialaispurjehdukselle – valon, veden ja tulen juhlaan!
Venetsialaiset ovat veneily- ja mökkeilykauden perinteinen päätösjuhla – veden, tulen ja valon juhla, jota vietetään elokuun viimeisenä lauantaina. Nyt voit kokea venetsialaisten tunnelman merellä, aidolla puupurjelaivalla, kaljaasi Ihanalla.
Venetsialaispurjehdus lähtee illalla klo 18 ja palaa satamaan klo 22, kun elokuun ilta on jo pimeä ja saaristo täynnä valon pilkahduksia. Astu kannelle, hengitä syvään raikasta merituulta ja anna Ihanan kuljettaa sinut Selkämeren kansallispuiston upeisiin maisemiin.
Purjehduksen alussa nostetaan purjeet ja koneet sammuvat – vain tuuli kuljettaa laivaa eteenpäin. Voit halutessasi osallistua purjeiden nostamiseen ja laskemiseen, kokeilla aluksen ohjaamista kapteenin valvonnassa tai vain nauttia kannella pimenevästä elokuun illasta. Rantakylien valot ja kokkojen loimu heijastuvat vedestä, ja tunnelma on ainutlaatuisen rauhallinen ja juhlava.
Matkan aikana nautitaan saariston herkuista notkuvasta noutopöydästä Ihanan tapaan. Buffet tarjoaa makuja mereltä ja saaristosta – hyvää ruokaa, joka kruunaa venetsialaisillan merellä. Ruokailun jälkeen on aikaa nautiskella kannella, jutella, katsella kokkoja ja antaa elokuun yön hiljalleen laskeutua saariston ylle.
Purjehduksen aikana laiva ja sen sisätilat ovat koko ajan käytettävissä, joten iltaa voi viettää mukavasti myös viileämpänä elokuun iltana.

Welcome to the Venetian Night Sailing Cruise – a Celebration of Light, Water and Fire
The Venetian Night is the traditional end-of-season celebration for boating and summer cottages in Finland – a festival of water, fire and light held on the last Saturday of August. Now you can experience this unique evening at sea on the traditional wooden sailing ship Ihana.
Our Venetian Night sailing departs in the evening at 18:00 and returns at 22:00, when the August night has already fallen and the archipelago is lit by bonfires and shoreline lights. Step on deck, breathe in the fresh sea air and let Ihana carry you into the beautiful scenery of the Bothnian Sea National Park.
At the beginning of the cruise, the sails are hoisted and the engine is turned off – only the wind moves the ship forward. If you wish, you can join the crew in hoisting and lowering the sails or even try steering the vessel under the captain’s supervision. Or simply relax on deck as the August evening slowly darkens, watching village lights and bonfires reflected on the water and soaking in the magical atmosphere.
During the cruise, you’ll enjoy a generous buffet of archipelago-style delicacies, “Ihana style”. Good food, soft evening light and the calm of the sea make for an unforgettable Venetian Night at sea.
Throughout the trip, the ship and its indoor areas are at your disposal, so you can enjoy the evening comfortably even if it gets a bit cool.
